Aims
The objective of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to personally develop and follow the distinct stages of the research process, understanding and performing the measurement of psychological constructs. In addition, students will be able to learn methods for acknowledging the significance of the relationship between variables in a quantitative research framework.
Programme
Students will gain hands-on experience in empirical research by performing data collection, database data entry procedures, analysis and interpretation of the results obtained. To achieve such a goal, students (individually or in small groups) will develop a pilot research project.
Exam
Verification of learning will be assessed on the basis of (i) the student’s active participation in the course and (ii) a poster presentation in which the methods and data analysis of the research project developed during the course will be reported.
Bibliography
The reference bibliography will be provided by the lecturer at the beginning of the course.
