Stefano De Francesco

Psychologist, lecturer of the Bachelor’s Degree program at SFU-Milan

Psychologist and psychotherapist in training at the Specialization School in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy “Cognitive Psychotherapy and Research –Studi Cognitivi” in Milan. He obtained his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at SFU Milan in July 2021. He completed his professional internship at the Laboratory of Developmental Psychopathology, IRCCS E. Medea – Associazione la Nostra Famiglia, Bosisio Parini (LC), during which he collaborated on projects aimed at studying the etiopathogenetic mechanisms and risk factors underlying neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, internalizing and externalizing psychopathology).

From January 2023 to October 2023, he worked as a research fellow at the Department of Human Sciences for Education ”Riccardo Massa” at the University of Milano-Bicocca, contributing to the MUSA (Multilayered Urban Sustainability Action) project funded by the Ministry of University and Research within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

In October 2023, he began his Ph.D. in Psychology at Sigmund Freud University-Wien with a research project in collaboration with the University of Milano-Bicocca focused on developing an inclusion index for young adults in participatory processes.

Since October 2022, he has been a lecturer for the course “Experimental Psychology I” in the Bachelor’s Degree program at Sigmund Freud University in Milan. He provides educational tutoring for students and collaborates with the “Child and Youth Lab” led by Professor Simona Scaini and the “Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis (AIDA) Lab” led by Professor Giovanni Michelini.
