Aims
The Course aims to promote the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the area of managing group dynamics: what they are, how to recognize them and how best to use them to enhance the group’s potential and help it work effectively. The various topics illustrated will be the subject of interactive and experiential work to stimulate experimentation and consolidation of the skills learned.
Programme
The following topics will be explored during the Course:
- the group and group dynamics;
- affiliation and exclusion;
- the structuring of the group into norms and roles;
- trust and cohesion in the group;
- leadership styles;
- decision-making in a group; therapeutic factors in the group; and relationships between different groups.
Exam
Students, in addition to being evaluated on the degree of active participation during the course, will take an individual final interview.
