Matilde Buattini

Clinical psychologist and sexologist, graduated from Sigmund Freud University in Milan and currently a PhD candidate at SFU Vienna. She is studying the application of artificial intelligence in case conceptualization and clinical outcomes. She practices as a sexologist and psychologist with experience in clinical settings for families and minors.

Clinical psychologist and sexologist (master’s in sexology from Giunti Psychometrics), registered with the Lombardy Order of Psychologists. She is currently a PhD candidate in Psychology at Sigmund Freud University, Vienna, where her research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence, particularly ChatGPT, for therapeutic case conceptualization according to the LIBET model and for supporting  clinical outcomes (e.g., therapeutic alliance). She has gained diverse work and internship experience in various clinical settings, including family and youth support centers, serving a wide range of clients. Her main research interests include sexuality and mental health, clinical efficacy, artificial intelligence and digital language analysis tools in psychology, case conceptualization and clinical supervision, and research in personality (e.g., vulnerable narcissism and public self-awareness).
