Giovanni Michelini

Tenured Lecturer in Statistics and Quantitative Methods, PhD in Educational Psychology

Graduated in Psychology in 2005 at the University of Parma, where he carried out his postgraduate internship, and in 2010 he obtained a PhD in Psychology of Education and Disability.

From 2005 to 2012, he taught Theories and Techniques of Tests and Statistics at the Bachelor’s Degree Course in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and the Master’s Degree Course in Psychology at the University of Parma as Laboratory Manager, Instructor, and Adjunct Professor.

Since 2016, he has been teaching at Sigmund Freud University and since 2023, he is the founder and director of the AIDA Lab.

He also works as a psychometrician at the Department for Disabilities of the Sospiro Hospital Institute Foundation – ONLUS.

Research interests

Construction and validation of psychometric instruments.

Neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.

Dementia.
