Graduated in Law, holds a European Master’s Degree in Mediation from IUKB University Institute in Sion (CH), with a research thesis on mediation in conflicts between doctors and patients arising in professional liability cases. A KIWA Cermet Italia certified Family Mediator at Reg. No. 0154 – MF since 16/12/2021 according to NT UNI 11644/2016, he has been a member of A.I.Me.F. (Italian Association of Family Mediators) since February 2010 (registration no. 914) and a supervisor for family mediators. He is an Criminal Mediator and trainer of criminal mediators (registered, in both cases, in the special list of the Ministry of Justice, with number 194), pursuant to DM 155/2023. President of the Me.Dia.Re. Association from 2003 to 2020, now in charge of the training sector and of projects carried out in partnership with public institutions and private entities; former referent of the Restorative Justice and Criminal Mediation projects carried out by Me.Dia.Re. in collaboration with the Interdistrict Office of External Criminal Execution of Turin, since 2024 he is also the referent of the Reparating, Supporting, Mediating project carried out in co-design with the Center for Restorative Justice of the City of Turin. He is the contact person for the Diamoci una mano project, a Listening and Mediation, Psychological Support and Coaching service provided by Me.Dia.Re. to/for employees of the City of Turin. Since 2021 he has been a teacher of Mediation Techniques for students in the 2nd year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Sigmund Freud University – Milan.
He has authored and taught the 15 theoretical-practical training courses of 200 classroom hours aimed at setting up “Listening and Mediation Teams in Public Health Agencies” at all public health agencies in Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Piedmont, implemented since 2005. He is a trainer of training courses for educators, psychologists, physicians and nurses, social workers and police force personnel on managing conflicts with citizens or conflicts within teams, listening to crime victims and preventing and managing violence against operators at entities such as: the IRCCS Foundation Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Sant’Orsola Malpighi of Bologna, the IRCCS Foundation Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori of Milan, the ATS of the City of Milan, the ATS of the City of Bergamo, the A. O. Santa Croce of Cuneo, the Istituti Clinici Zucchi of Monza, the Azienda USL of Modena, the Azienda USL of Reggio Emilia, Save the Children Italia, the Artelier Cooperative of Milan, the PRO.GE.S.T. Cooperative of Turin and the Valdocco Cooperative of Turin, the penitentiary police officers of the Asti prison, the local police personnel of the Piedmont Region. He is a t in several university master’s programs for family and social mediators, and is a teaching director and trainer in the courses for family mediators (recognized by A.I.Me.F.) and mediation in criminal, labor and health care provided annually by Me.Dia.Re. since 2004. He is the author of a number of publications on conflict mediation, family mediation and health mediation, as well as a text on issues of victimology.
