Sara Palmieri, si è laureata in psicologia presso l’Università degli Studi di Firenze. Si è successivamente specializzata in Psicoterapia Cognitivo-Comportamentale presso la scuola di specializzazione Studi Cognitivi ed è specialista in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT).
È Tenured Lecturer presso la Sigmund Freud University e dottoranda di ricerca presso la London South Bank University. È docente per il corso “Metodologia della Ricerca in Psicoterapia” presso la scuola di specializzazione in psicoterapia cognitivo-comportamentale “Psicoterapia Cognitiva e Ricerca”.
La sua attività di ricerca si focalizza su processi cognitivi di rimuginio e ruminazione e disturbi alimentari.
È revisore per diverse riviste scientifiche internazionali e membro dell’Editorial Boad del Journal of Rational-Emotive & Cognitive-Behavior Therapy.
È socia della Società Italiana di Psicoterapia Comportamentale e Cognitiva SITCC.
Opera come psicoterapeuta privata presso “Studi Cognitivi” Milano.
