Research area and primary aims:

The theoretical perspective of the Lab is that of the Contextual and Behavioral Sciences, and the projects that take place in the lab can be divided into two main branches: one experimental from a behavior analytic and Relational Frame Theory perspective and one applied including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy.

  1. Regarding the experimental analysis, the interest is aimed to explore and processes of language and cognition. In particular, the processes of cognitive fusion, the self and implicit cognition.
  2. Regarding the applied analysis, the interest is in the development of ACT-Based protocols for mood and anxiety disorders, the development of instruments to assess ACT and FAP processes and the application of ACT-BASED strategies in the context of Behavioral Economic and Nudge.
