Research area and primary aims:
The theoretical perspective of the Lab is that of the Contextual and Behavioral Sciences, and the projects that take place in the lab can be divided into two main branches: one experimental from a behavior analytic and Relational Frame Theory perspective and one applied including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy.
- Regarding the experimental analysis, the interest is aimed to explore and processes of language and cognition. In particular, the processes of cognitive fusion, the self and implicit cognition.
- Regarding the applied analysis, the interest is in the development of ACT-Based protocols for mood and anxiety disorders, the development of instruments to assess ACT and FAP processes and the application of ACT-BASED strategies in the context of Behavioral Economic and Nudge.
