Assessment, diagnosis and psychological counselling for inmates with a high risk of failing to adapt to prison life and psycho-diagnostic work
Prescribing psycho-social support programmes and rehabilitation work
Planning and implementing therapeutic treatment
Psycho-social training of prison staff

Place of work
Regional Health Authorities (ATSs) responsible for miscellaneous health care services in correctional facilities
Prisons and administration offices for penitentiaries and young offenders units
Surveillance Courts (prison expert)
Juvenile Courts (assistant to the Public Magistrate or Private Judge)
Young Offenders Centres and “USSMs”, Social Services Departments for Young Offenders
